Merral tossed over in her sleep, dreaming. She saw it as clear as day; her beautiful ship, the Phantom. Raina Temple was on the bridge as usual; going over intel. Doctor Lokin occupied the medbay, no doubt taking inventory. Kaliyo roamed the halls; the mysterious droid Scorpio stood by the engines waiting to be called apon, and her beloved Vector stood in the cargo bay by the crates. They were all together, and safe, and whole. Then she felt it. Her ship rocked, and blaster fire penetrated the shielding. They all lied dead. She ran into the cargo bay, and to her relief, Vector was alive. "We've got to get out of here!" She yelled, taking him by the hand. "Our time has come." he said gently, as blaster fire penetrated that part of the ship. "Vector, no!" she yelled. "Stay with me, please." She wiped away the tears from her eyes as she ran to an escape pod. As it floated down to a planet below, Watcher X appeared in the pod with her. "They all died." She cried out. "Yes." he replied, "Just like everyone else you've ever cared about. And it won't end, Cipher. Those you love are never safe."

"Agent," Vector called to her quietly. "Agent." He placed his hand on her shoulder and gently shook her. "Agent, you were dreaming." She sat up and wiped away her tears that fell. "What is it?" He asked her, holding her tightly. "Promise me something, Vector." She said, tears dripping down her face. "Anything, Agent." he replied, caressing the side of her face gently. "Promise you'll never leave me." she said, holding his hand in hers. "We would never leave you, Agent. We will stay and watch over you, always." He pushed back a lock of her hair and wiped away her tears. "I love you, Vector." She said, kissing him softly on the lips.

"And we love you. As always, we love you."
