The Best Thing About Valentines Day

      The alarm clock rang off its annoying sound, and Minako opened her eyes and groggily sat up, she glanced at her calendar and her eyes went wide, "VALINTINES DAY!!!" she yelled. It's such a relief she wakes up so early, because she still had to make her valentine card to a certain someone. She walked into the shower and took a shower making sure to wash her light brown hair extra good today.

      When she got out she changed into her school uniform and combed her hair. After she combed her hair she tied it in a ponytail. After ting it tightly with a hair tie, she grabbed a green ribbon to match her school outfit, and tied it on top of her hair tie into a cute bow.

      She sat down in a chair and scooted in closer to the desk and pulled out a paper. She grabbed a pen and began to write her valentine.

"MINA! IT'S TIME TO GO!!!" Cornet yelled from down the stairs.

Minako hurried and put the letter in a pink envelope and sealed it with a cute red heart sticker. She put it in her bag and rushed out the door to school.

      Minako sat the valentine in her crushes locker and closed it firmly, making sure no one saw, she ran off quickly so she wouldn't be caught. Little did she know, someone was doing the same thing.

      The bell rang and she hurried to her locker to see if she got any valentines. She grabbed onto the handle to open her locker.  Slowly opened it and when she did there on top of her pink notebook, was a red envelope. Her eyes went big. She slowly reached for the letter. When she had a good grip on it she opened it up, and it read:

The best thing about Valentines Day is that I can tell you this one thing…

I love you.

She couldn't believe what she just read, "He…loves me?" 'My crush loves me!' Minako thought. She stared down at the hall and saw Rei, he was reading her note! Rei looked up from the note he was reading, looking straight at Minako, and smiled. All Minako could do is smile back weakly.
