"Ell? Who's that?" Linh said through giggles.
Biana, Linh, and I were at Havenfield for a sleepover and we were playing a game called Future Stories. To play the game, whenever it's someone's turn they are supposed to pick something to tell the future about and everyone has to rate how much they believe the story could actually happen.
"Wait! I'll explain. They called her Ell because her original name was too long. Her name was Elliranaris, which is a pretty complicated name." I said. It was my turn and I picked the future of the council.
"Sophie! Why'd you give her such a, I don't know, unappealing name!" Biana said crossing her arms being mock angry.
"Yeah but continue! Does her parents let her go for the councilor interview (I don't know how elves become councilors)?" Linh said eagerly eating her mallowmelt.
"Well, yeah but they put her on a condition. If she doesn't become a councilor, she had to work at the shop for the rest of her life!" I said as Linh and Biana gasped.
"Wow, that's so-" Knock! Knock! I turned to the door and crept towards it. I opened the door to see Grady with Edaline in his hands, who was bleeding.
"What happened?" I said in panic. Grady shook his head and said "Sophie just hail Elwin! I'll tell you details later."
Sophie grabbed her imparter and quickly hailed Elwin. "Sophie, what's wrong?" Elwin said groggily. "Edaline's hurt! You have to come fast!" I said. "Coming now." Elwin said and with that his image left the little screen.
"No! Tell him to come to Everglen! It's not safe here!" Grady said as he quickly looked behind him, expecting someone to hear him.
As I did that Biana took out the special leaping crystal that can light leap to Everglen and inside the gates. "Come on!" She shouted shining her crystal in the moonlight.
We all ran to Biana and reached Everglen. "MOM! DAD! COME HERE, EDALINE'S HURT!" Biana screamed running towards her parent's room.
"What happened?" Alden and Della both said reaching the room where Edaline lay on the bed.
"We were getting ready to sleep, when we heard a loud boom in the nursery, so we ran outside to see what happened and we saw shadows everywhere and from the shadows there was goblin throwing stars shooting out. I didn't know where they were coming from and Edaline had conjured up a leaping crystal to the 3rd floor of Havenfield, but before we could leap, Edaline was hit by a throwing star and I knew I had to leap her out of there, so I told her to concentrate as much as she could, so we could leap. Apparently, she was able to concentrate." Grady said with a sad smile.
