The shecat slipped through the door of the house, enjoying the feeling of the morning dew. She yawned and stretched, letting out a yowl.

"Scotch?" She meowed, and another cat appeared from the shadows. Her pelt was a glossy black and she had yellow eyes. She meowed in response. "Good morning, Blossom," she greeted, nuzzling the other shecat and licking her ear. She touched her nose with the other female's nose. "I was thinking about going into the woods today," She meowed, laying down and grooming her paws. Scotch looked concerned.

"You do realize Belian's kit went in and never came out?" She protested. She sighed. "That was moons ago, you're talking nonsense." Blossom hissed in response. Scotch sighed, sitting down. "I'll come with you," She offered. The tawny cat who was grooming her paws twitched. "You will? Great! Come on." She excitedly meowed, dashing between the fence and quickly disappearing into the woods. Scotch let out a yowl and chased after her friend.

She followed Blossom, chasing after the fast shecat when her friend paused to a halt. Blossom tasted the air, and her eyes widened. She launched herself into a bush and lay quietly, hissing at Scotch to do the same. Scared out of her mind, Scotch jumped into a bush, and she began to feel her fur bristle. She heard two voices approach.

"Firestar, when will I become a warrior?" A young voice meowed, sounding irritated. "Soon, Cloudpaw, soon," hissed another. Blossom could hear their paws stop near the bushes. She eyed the flame-colored paws with her turquoise blue eyes, her ears nervously twitching. All of a sudden, the orange cat let out a yowl and jumped into the bush Blossom was in, and Blossom let out a loud yelp.

"Who are you, and why are you in ThunderClan territory?" The orange cat, who she had assumed was Firestar, growled. The smaller cat, Cloudpaw, had his back arched and claws unsheathed. Firestar sheathed his claws and his eyes softened. "Oh, just another kittypet," He mumbled. She snarled. "What did you call me?" She demanded, clawing off her collar and tossing it aside. She heard Scotch gasp.

"You must be Blossom," Firestar meowed. "I have been expecting you. Princess has been telling me lots. Follow me," He added, turning and walking somewhere with the smaller cat following. "Scotch!" She hissed, and the other female jumped out and followed the flame colored cat.

They arrived at a camp where many cats resided. Upon entering, they were instantly stared at. "Oh, don't tell me we have more kittypets here," Longtail sneered. "Looks like it's Firestar all over again!" Dustpelt chidded. A sand colored shecat padded over to the flame colored tom and nuzzled him lovingly. "Welcome back, Firestar," She greeted warmly, padding away with her tail raised. She could already tell that the female was in heat. She frowned. Firestar was fairly handsome, and she wanted to win his heart. That adventure started now.
