From Friends To Lovers!!
Sango had just woken up. She did her usual routine, take a shower, brush her teeth, get dress, brush her hair, etc. While she was putting on some make-up she told herself…
"Why even get dress so nicely? Miroku will never come back to me!" She got her jacket and headed back to the mirror… "well at least I still look nice." She left the house and headed directly to the bus stop.
Sango got on the bus and saw a person sitting on her usual sit… she couldn't see the person's face. There was a bouquet of red roses covering the person's face. She didn't care actually who the person was, so she just sat down. As Sango was sitting down, the person lowered the bouquet. It was Sango's best guy friend, InuYasha. He smiled at her and handed her the roses. "Who are they for?" Sango smelled the roses, and smiled. InuYasha smiled again and simply said… "They're for you."
Sango didn't know why he had given her the bouquet but at the same time, she didn't feel like asking so she only said 'thanx!'
The kept talking the whole bus ride to school. When they were about to get to school, InuYasha got Sango's hand and asked with a worried voice… "Do you want to… well what I'm trying to say is… do you want to be… you know, my girlfriend?" She was shock at his question. Had she heard him correctly? Did he just ask her to be his girlfriend? Was this some sort of dream?
InuYasha looked at her waiting for an answer… Sango smiled at him and gave him a kiss on the lips. "Mmm, is that a 'yes' or 'no'?" He asked with a smile forming. "Yes." She replied. "Great…" InuYasha gave Sango a kiss and then continued saying… "that makes me so happy!"
They finally got to school. They got off while holding hands, Sango carrying the bouquet of roses. Out of nowhere, Kagome, Sango's best gal friend appeared in front of them, and slapped Sango across the face leaving a red mark on her check, also making her drop the roses. Sango touched her now bright red check. InuYasha had a really bad feeling of what is about to happen, he holds Sango's hand tighter, picked the bouquet and started walking away from all of that.
They could hear Kagome yelling at Sango… 'YOU ARE A REALLY GOOD FRIEND! SANGO YOU'RE GOING TO PAY! YOU HEAR ME? YOU'RE GOING TO PAY!'
InuYasha took Sango to the science building, there was no one… there was only silence.
'Good…' he thought. He sat down, Sango did the same.
Sango was still shocked about earlier… 'Kagome, I'm… sorry. I knew exactly how you felt about InuYasha and I still said yes to him. I really am sorry!' she told Kagome in her mind. (a/n; yeah as if Kagome could read her mind.)
InuYasha saw her serious expression; he didn't like it, not at all! He let of her hand, and had already placed the roses on the floor.
At that, Sango snapped out of her deep thought… "Why?" She ask
"Why, what?" InuYasha replied. "Why me? Why not Kagome?" Sango ask, she noticed their faces weren't so far apart from each other. He just whispered…
"Because, I Love You." He broke the space between their faces, between their lips, giving her a gentle kiss.
Sango smiled at him and said… "I Love You, too!" They gave each other another kiss but this time not so gentle. When they parted away, Sango laid her head on his chest… she could feel him slightly breathing and could hear his thumping heart.
She felt so relax, she fell into a deep slumber.
