No one ever said I couldn't do this… So I think I will. Yes, these are all about Robin. If you don't like it, please don't flame me for it because I'm seeing double vision and everybody's singing like 'HEY! NA NA NA!'
Just Robin
The bar was all he had.
Dangling from it,
Riding it,
Feeling the wind rustle gently through his brown hair.
His parents would be there too,
On their own trapeze bars,
Swinging to meet him in the middle.
But one day,
As they swung,
The rope was cut,
And both fell to their death.
Richard John Grayson should've become an orphan.
But Bruce Wayne,
A good man with a good heart,
Gave in and saved him.
He picked him off the street and taught him,
Trained him,
Convinced him he was a hero.
But let's face it.
You're no hero without powers.
You can't be a lone hero and still feel the same glory.
It's nothing without someone to hold you up,
And the bar was all he had.
But he didn't have it any more.
All he had was a mask,
A utility belt,
And a cape to hide behind.
It didn't fool the world though.
He was hiding in plain sight,
And they all could see him.
Without the bar,
There was no 'Richard John Grayson'.
Without the bar,
He was just a powerless super hero.
Without the bar,
He was just Robin.
Mine! I wrote it, I copyright it, etc. Whatya think?
