That Fragile Flower
A small frail girl wandered down the busy street. She found her way into an alley. Barely walking, she fell with a thud to the ground, was her time over with? Most likely. She was very poor.. Had no family she had been shut out. Her short white hair brushed against her ears. Sure she was Albino… but was that her fault ? No… was it her fault she was hated ? No.. but she always thought it was. The frail girl lay on the ground ,tears soaking into the ground, It was over.. She was sure of it. And her name was Lilly.
Her breathing was getting raspy. When was the last time she ate again? Oh yeah.. She couldn't remember. Wait.. that's it! The last time was when he - wait no.. now was not the time to think back to her pitiful past. Out of the corner of her eyes she saw something growing out of a crack in the ground…A flower. A small white flower.. It was so fragile. She touched a petal of that flower. It fell at her touch immediately. The sight made her want to cry and never stop… because she WAS that pitiful worthless flower. She was a Lilly. She didn't remember lillies being so ….worthless … but I guess she never gave much thought to the matter. She was just like that petty flower. A single tear fell and hit that flower .. Another petal fell. Spectators walked by and witnessed the strange seen but they didn't give a thought or care about her.. .or that petty flower.
She couldn't take this any more! Why did her dying have to be so freaking slow! She looked over and saw an old broken beer bottle.. "Thankyou…"She grabbed part of the broken glass. "For the death of this petty flower "She sent the glass flying through her chest. Hopefully this would be the end of her… She smiled and fell back to the ground , grinning madly, the thought is chilling yet it was all true. That small flower still stood through the crack but just barely. A small petty white flower… that now held a blood stain.
