PN's Note: A prologue to an RPG I am planning for later. When I motivate myself to doing so. ))

The history books told of a woman.

A woman who, along with other people, defended the Aranaldo Archapelago from invaders.

Her hair was black. Her spear's blade was the same, almost as if a god of darkness forged it himself.

Kana Rosston, a Mightyena age 17, loved the whole story. She read it and could recite it by memory at a moment's notice.

Which is why she found it odd when she went to recall the story, and her memory kept jamming up.

It's as if the event never happened.

Flipping in her history book, she found the story; but it was different. Instead of the black-haired priestess, it was a mysterious stranger, with long pink hair.

The spear was gone and replaced with a broadsword.

And her companions were gone: it's as if she chased them off.

Kana knew it was bad.

On her vacation from her cheering job, Kana decided to go on a ship to Sinnoh. Maybe the Foreign House there had some answers.

A shame she didn't check the news.

During the boat ride, Kana met a woman. Kana didn't know what to think: she looked just like the new woman in her books. Kana was a bit edgy, but didn't act on her instinct.

One night, Kana was awoken by thunder. She saw out the window of her cabin a brewing storm. And the same woman staring intently at the bow.
Getting out, Kana went to ask her something, when a loud crack erupted. A large bolt laced in front of the two.

"An opening!" The woman smirked, and jumped in the storm.
Kana gasped as she stood there stock still in horror. Was she insane?!

No more throughts. The next strike hit the boat.

Kana fell. Her mind blacked out.

Else where...

Colin the Buizel was out gathering Berries. Seeing the clouds gather, he was ready for a good rain.
Not the bolt that struck him.

Kyle the Grovyle and Chris the Blaziken were struck chasing each other in a game of Hug the Gecko.

Sona, a stupid Groudon, was hit like an idiot.

Mizu, a Samurott, watched the rain stretch inland. An instant later, she held her blades high, catching the abnormal thunder.

Pheren glared at the storm. Stretching his Charizard wings, the Charizard/Absol hybrid flew into the storm.

Others were getting caught in unintentionally. They had no idea of what was to come.

The adventure that would change their lives... And rewrite history.

It was also an adventure that would signal the coming of new threats.

(Short because this was originally just a note. More stuff will be layered on. But don't take this to token; I am capable of writing a lot more than this. Just today I feel lazy. ))
