"Hush, little baby, don't you cry. Mummy's gonna sing you a lullaby." Bellatrix whispered to the little silver-haired baby girl in her arms. She could see feet running past the little chunk of light under the doorway. Aurors' feet. Just a few hours after the silver-haired girl had come into the world, they had burst into the Shrieking Shack and had started searching the house for Bellatrix and the baby, after Voldemort had left for Hogwarts. She had managed to find an old broom cupboard and hide. She hummed softly to the baby and it giggled. "Kingsley? Did you hear that?" said a gruff voice that Bellatrix recognised as Auror Dawlish. She froze and cursed herself as her breath grew louder. "Yes, I hear it John." said the deep voice of Auror Shacklebolt. She heard a floorboard creak as he crossed the floor and panicked, wildly throwing spells at the stone wall. A hole blew open, and Bellatrix scrambled out and rushed to the end of the old garden where Rodolphus was, not even caring about the crowd of Aurors behind her. She looked down at the little child and wondered how she had become so attached to the baby after a few short hours. But she had do this. Bellatrix thrust the girl into Rodolphus' arms, looked into his confused eyes and whispered, "Look after her Rolphy. Tell her who she is." And with that she thrust aside the Aurors and sprinted towards the castle.
