OK, so this is my idea that I got after watching The Matrix. I wont tell
you too much about what it's like except just for you to think about a
giant, three-dimensional grid. Please review when finished!

Kevin Frankton (a.k.a.: CPUWURM), a 23-year-old white male, sat at his computer as he watched with ever-vigilant eyes the tracer bar at the bottom of his screen. It was at 43% and rising at .17932 pps (percent per second). He was downloading a secret government combat training file. He had no idea what it was, but by the other files he had found in their hard drive, Kevin knew it was worth the next fifteen minutes download. Suddenly the speed dropped down to 2 kb/s from the original 183 kb/s. Dammit. He would never get it done in time. Oh well, it'll hurry up eventually. Keeping an eye on the tracer as he continued, he continued searching the files.most he already had. His newest file was a Foreign Trade document, which turned out to be about trade with extraterrestrials. The transfer rate was back up to 273 kb/s. as long as it stayed there, Kevin would have a combat training file in the next five minutes, giving him just enough time to log off and erase his evidence of being there. The bar rose.98%.99%.and it was finished! The Tracer bar was at 78%, so Kevin erased his IP address and logged off. Now it was time to find out what this training manual was all about.
"Let's see." He muttered as he renamed the file and DOS extension 'Checking Balance' Kevin opened the file and began reading. As soon as it loaded, he realized something was wrong. It was encoded. And scrambled. Crap. He'd have to be up all night in order to decode and unscramble the file. Oh well, he'd just have to start tomorrow after work. Kevin copied the file onto a CD and rubbed a magnet against his exposed hard drive. It was the same process as every other day.
Kevin could get a new hard drive, because he knew someone who worked at the local computer shop. The guy, Chris Mitchell, gave him the hard drives for free. 6 different routers and firewalls protected his Internet, so chances are he'd know if anyone was breaking into his computer long before it actually happened. Not to mention the firewall passwords were all encoded in HTML, Binary and finally his own form of Base 15. Not even SLEAZEL, one of his buddies, a professional hacker, could break into it. SLEAZEL, whose real name was Zechariah Prather, worked at a big-business corporation as a legitimate hacker. He was paid a couple hundred grand a year; depending on how many files he managed to break into. Kevin checked his watch; it was 2:47 in the morning, so he decided he'd better go to bed. He unlocked his 3 deadbolts to get out of his hacking apartment as CPUWURM, and opened up his apartment room 4 buildings down as Kevin Frankton, Verizon manager. So, What do you think? It doesn't explain the title, but think about it, in the beginning of The Matrix, did it explain the title? Not really. Anyways, it's 12:16 for me now, and this is just my rough draft. The follow-up will be this part, only in script-form, plus deleted scenes! Pretty cool, you get a new Matrix-Like story, DVD-version! Anyways, please review, and I'll post next as soon as I finish, which I promise the next Story-Part WILL be longer! Cheers! Writing Guy
