Summary: Kagome received a package...what she didn't know this package held a book...and this book held the keys to secrets that were kept from her. A Past she no longer remembered...a family that she felt she belonged...and most of all a love that she forgot.

Kagome smiled softly as she bid her family goodnight and headed up to her room. It had been a good birthday. She was now twenty-one, and things were moving pretty good in her life now.
She wasn't in the place in the world yet, but she was going to get there...even if it may take a few more years.
Kagome sat down on her bed and stopped when she saw something on her bed. Titling her head to the side she brought the rectangle shaped gift to her lap.
There was a note on the top, it looked to be written in parchment and used with a quill Something not done now a days.
Frowning Kagome read the note.

This didn't make any sense. Not at all.
Deciding she would open the gift before she made a choice on what to think she ripped the paper open.
There unwrapped laid a book. A Book she had remembered from her childhood, but hadn't seen in a long time.
Once Upon A Time.
A book of fairy tales...the ones she remembered her father reading to her.
"I haven't seen this in a long time." She muttered to herself as she opened the book. It was bringing back all type of memories she thought were buried.
Shaking her head she shut the book, and sat it down on her desk. She would look at it another time, right now though she needed to get some sleep. Tomorrow she was heading back into the Feudal Era to see her friends.
She needed rest for that. Knowing Inuyasha he was going to want to go hunt demons down. Even though the jewel was finished, he still liked traveling around to villages and hunting demons.
Kagome didn't think he would ever stop.
As Kagome drifted to sleep she never knew that the book glowed a light pink. SHe would never know that her life was going to change.
That all the she knew, wasn't real.
That everything she thought was right...was wrong.
Too bad Kagome didn't know. To bad she didn't know the things that were going to change her life for the long run.
Too bad indeed.
A dark figure waited in the dark, an impatient look on the figures face as he waited for the return of something.
Not even seconds later a small little figure showed up.
"Did she get it?" the dark figure asked, worry clear in his voice.
"Yes she did...and things should go as they should now." The little figure said, voice kind and you could practically hear the smile on its face.
"Thank you."
The figure gave a small smile, before disappearing and leaving the man alone in the dark night.
The man looked towards the sky, the moon shining down as it reflected off the hook on his hand, "soon my Kagome...very soon."
