"Hic. You know I really hate you. Hic." Alfred said to Ivan drunkily.
The two were currently in a bar together under circumstances that will soon be revealed.
"Hahaha I hate you too." Ivan laughed, smacking Alfred on the back.
Alfred's glasses almost fell off. He pushed them back up and took another swig of his beer.
"If Maddie didn't make me try to become friends with you, I would've killed you by now." Alfred wagged his finger at him.
"I would've have breaken your kneecaps, rip all of your nails one by one, and put ice picks very slowly into your shoulders. Next, if you are still alive, I would take a knife and slowly carve you up and then I would put you in an awkward position and leave you in an abandoned warehouse where no one will find you until I have many great-grandchildren." He smiled darkly at him with cruel eyes.
Alfred kind of blanked out during Ivan's little speech until he heard great-grandchildren. "You will not have my Maddie! And if you do, remember this! Those kids are also my great-nieces and nephews!" Alfred cried out.
Ivan's face darkened. He leaned into Alfred. "Remember this. I'm marrying your sister tomorrow. You will be my brother."
Alfred's face contorted into pain. "Noooooooo!"
"Daaaa! And you'll be my shield against Natalia! If I give you to her, then she'll leave me alone, which means more time with Madeline." Ivan said happily.
Alfred cried and sobbed and banged his head on the table.
"Well I have to go to sleep soon. Big day tomorrow." Ivan stood up and took one last shot of vodka. "See you at the wedding, brother."
Ivan laughed as he walked away.
Alfred sobbed harder. "I don't want a brother. I want Maddie!"
May be a two-shot. If so next is the wedding.
