"NO SIRIUS NO!!!"
I turned around to see my friend Remus, jump in front of the death eater
who was apparently going to kill me until he died.
I screamed out my friend's name in horror as Remus clawed the death eater's
throat quickly but not fast enough to move from the spell the demon has
casted upon him before his soul goes to hell.
Remus fell to the ground in a thump, his breath ragged and too weak to be
fixed by magic.
I ran toward Moony, feeling angry for myself for being useless to help my
only friend.
He laid on his back in a painful way as he whispered softly of his death.
"Don't go Moony, you can still make it," I whispered out, pulling Remus's
nearly cold body near mine, trying to warm him up. "Don't leave me here
with this guilt."
Remus weakly smiled at me, his usual sparkling golden eyes now dull from
closing in onto the door to eternal sleep. "Padfoot, we will meet
soon......live your life to the fullest..."
"NO!!!!" I started sobbing while Remus stroked my face lightly, whispering
sweet things to me about meeting again very soon.
Suddenly I felt his lips on mine, weak yet full of love and kindness as I
pulled him closer, wanting to savor his taste.
He smiled and whispered in my ears his love for me as he closed his eyes to
this world forever.

A few hours later, Dumbledore found the two best friends, locked into each
other's arms, both dead and smiling happily.
"They have made so far into life, yet they never knew they were in love
with each other," Dumbledore said softly as a single feather fell from the
sky onto their bounded hands.
