Ty Lee hated it. It was like Azula only considered her a possession. Something that had to obey her every command. That was the main reason she had left to join the circus, she couldn't take it and she hoped time would change the princess. But it hadn't.
She was still the same princess. She still always spoke to others as if they were mere insects. She still didn't know how to express her emotions properly.
Ty Lee understood that for most of her life Azula had been pushed to excel constantly. When they were little Azula was always being dragged away from her and Mai when they were playing. She forever had lessons on this and that. It always seemed like something was bound to give. Perhaps that was what caused the princess to be incapable of love.
