I worshiped her. I still do.

She is the light in the darkness, just as I am the darkness clinging stubbornly to the edges of her shining brilliance.

She defeated me. I held my heart out to her, an offering made in sincerity, and she swatted it away with a look and a sentence.

I am alone now, here at the center of my Labyrinth. Even after she weakened and destroyed my Kingdom; I, a king without subjects to rule, sit on my throne and try to remember how it felt to hold her in my arms as we danced.
