Hermione sees Pansy at the Yule Ball and realizes she is in love with her. She goes to the balcony to think. Pansy saw Hermione looking at her and followed her to the balcony. She hears Hermione talking to herself. "How, why and when did I fall in love with Pansy? Our houses are enemies, but I don't want to pretend to hate her just because of that." Pansy walks up behind her and wraps her arms around Hermione's waist. Hermione turns around and whispers, "How long have you been standing there Pansy?"
Pansy whispers, "Long enough to hear what you were saying to yourself."
Hermione said, "Dang it. You weren't supposed to hear that?
She asked, "Why not?"
Hermione said, "So I could figure out the details. I'm afraid that you won't like or love me back."
Pansy said, "I could never reject you. You are so hot and sexy."
Hermione said, "We don't know that, Pansy. I wish our lives could be so we did not have to worry about what side we are on. Could you ask your parents if I could come meet with them to learn the etiquette and to do an inheritance ritual please?"
Pansy said, "Sure. Now let me kiss you like I've been wanting to for a couple of years now."
Pansy leans in but let Hermione choose whether or not to let kiss her. Hermione closes the distance and kisses Pansy, they try to keep the kiss chaste and not too passionate but it doesn't work. The kiss deepens and becomes hotter, when Harry and Ron show up. They ask her why she was kissing a female Slytherian and she replies that she's in love with Pansy.
