Keep your friends close, but your enemies closer

'Smooth criminal' they both sang, as the torsos of their bodies touched one another.

Santana smirked at boy who stood in front of her, trying to out beat her in a sing off. She looked him with pride and evil that gleamed through her eyes. She looked down at the floor for a second trying not to smirk in his face, knowing that he couldn't win this little childish game. She took her eyes off the floor and moved around the room, landing back at Sebastian. She grinned at him before telling him off.

"So how does it feel to lose to a girl, Smythe?" she questioned him with arrogance that filled her voice as she spoke.

She saw that he had crossed his arms before further responding to her question. She saw that he moved his hand to tip her hat right in her face before she smiled.

"Oh, Lopez I didn't loose. You did" he beamed at her flashing her another smile, before causally taking a step back from her.

Santana rolled her eyes at this statement. She knew, she won that stupid sing-off and she knew from the start. She took a step towards him trying the best to initiate him while she argued with him.

"Look, I understand your trying to be a good sport like how your little Warblers are suppose to be" she rolled her eyes trying not to get irradiated with the fact that he wasn't going to give up.

She watched as he took a step closer to her now facing her. She saw that grin had creped upon his face knowing that he would say something devilishly charming.

"You, honestly think the Warblers are good sports after I became the lead man. You might think that when Blaine was the leading man he would of put up with this crap, but not me Lopez. I'm in to win it" the grinned turned into what appeared to be a smirk.

Santana gulped at this. She knew that she might of lost this round but didn't want to think about ever losing. She stepped closer to him, their bodies practically touching for the second time. If he wanted a fair fight she would give him one. With that she flashed him a smile anyone would fall for.

"You're right. You win" she said with a mixture of pride and jealously to try to make like she meant it.

Santana was happy how this outcome would be like for now. Let him think that him and his little Warblers won, but crush them at Regional's. She was about to open the doors to the hall'n oats before being stopped by the boy himself.

"By the way, if you honestly thought that fake smile could win me over, think again" she could hear that his voice was cool with a slight chuckled to go with it.

She smiled at this turning around to face him one last time from a distance.

"So you admit, I won" she said raspy raising her eyebrow, trying to prove her point.

She could see that he did that devilishly smile at her once again. "I never said that Santana".

Santana felt anger in her. She pursed her lips and clenched her fists as she was ready to attack, but she didn't. She stopped herself letting herself cool down for a second before saying

"I'll see you soon, Smythe".

She opened the door to see that the rest of the warblers were leaning against the wall hoping that their little leader would tell them that he had declared victory over her. She stopped crossing her arms smiling at them.

"You call that your leading man or leader of your little group? He just lost to a girl" she scoffed trying to be confident enough when she said it.

She shook her head smirking at all of them before exiting the main hall once and for all. She cocked her head to the side turning around for one last time.

"Tell your little leader, I said game on" she winked at them. With that Santana walked out with pride swearing never to look back.
