Sid- "Just great it's the summer before my senior year, my friends all have girlfriends and here I am walking up and down the pier, hoping for someone to hang with." Sid was pacing back and forth reciting his monologue to the open sky as he smoked a half gone sigarett. His appearance had changed over the course of years. He now was 5'8 and had lean muscles from doing sports like track and had a tattoo sleeve over his arms. He no longer wore his hat over his bridge of his nose and his hair had grown shaggy. He even sported vans over his old boots, thanks to his ex Rhonda.
Sid was so in thought he had ran into someone that had seemed to not be looking either, knocking them over.
Sid- "Oh, sorry." Sid rambled before getting a glimpse of who he ran into. It was Nadine, she had matured over the years standing at 5'5 with a small hourglass figure, tan skin and long blonde hair that was pulled back into a ponytail. She was sporting a green tang top and blue running shorts. He quickly reached out and help her to her feet.
Nadine- "No sweat Sid I was listening to music with my ear buds and wasn't paying attention either." She dusted herself off and began running again, and Sid returned to his monologue.
Sid-"Now where was I? Oh yea, why won't anyone hang with me?" Sudden realization hit Sid and he ran after Nadine screaming her name. He soon caught up to her and tapped her on the shoulder.
Nadine- "Oh hey Sid, what's up?" Sid tried to pace himself with Nadine's speed then replied.
Sud- "I know this is... crazy, but do you ...maybe... want to hang out... sometime...maybe?" Sid said nervously. Nadine just giggled and responded.
Nadine- "I tell you what I'll do you one better, how about we race to my house then we can go inside and watch that horror movie marathon that's on tonight." Sid thought for a second.
Sid-"Alright, you're on." Sid said eagerly. They bolted back to Nadine's house and Sid beat her by a hair.
Sid-"I did it, woo hoo!" Nadine just shook her head and opened her door.
Nadine- "Are you coming in or are you going to gloat all night." Sid turned to face her smiling and ran inside, closing the door behind him.
