So I've been reading this awesome story, but now I can't find it anywhere. I didn't favorite it cause I've been having troubles logging in lately. If anyone can tell me who the author is and/or what happened to the story I'd be super grateful!
So the story is called 'Use Somebody' and had 11 chapters. I think it was rated M, but I'm not so sure. It was updated last time a couple of weeks ago.
In the story Damon and Elena are engaged and meet up with Caroline and Stefan who are married to tell them about their engagement. Later Stefan and Caroline learn that Damon and Elena have been in a car accident.
Two years prior Stefan and Elena are best friends and just finished with college, so Stefan takes Elena to LA where his father and his brother live and he starts working in the family business. The Salvatores are really famous. Elena has this internship for journalism and works in a restaurant, too. Elena hates Damon at first, but they become friends slowly and start dating while Stefan and Caroline are dating as well. They are all really in love, but Damon has a problem with his father who doesn't think he can handle his work. Damon really cares about his work and has great ideas, but after Guiseppe rejected Damon's ideas, Elena tells him of and Guiseppe hates her.
Damon, Elena, Stefan and Caroline visit Mystic Falls and Jenna and Alaric love Damon while Bonnie doesn't really like him.
Then Guiseppe wants to give Elena some money, so that she'll leave Damon alone, but of course she won't take it. So he tells her if she won't leave Damon, he'll throw him out of his company and make sure that Stefan and Damon (who are starting to become brothers again) lose any contact.
So Elena breaks up with Damon, tells him she never loved him and leaves to Mystic Falls. Both are devastated and heartbroken and while Damon throws away his work and gets wasted for weeks, Elena stays with Bonnie (who is the only one that knows the true reason why she broke up with Damon) and won't leave her room and everything.
That's about it I guess. I really love this story, it's one of my favorites and please please, it'll be amazing if you name the author and tell me what happened to the story!
