I don't really like the ending of this one, but..oh well!

A lot had happened to Carter over the last few years. First, he had learned that Robin of Locksley (now known as Robin Hood) was responsible for his brother's death. He had gone to England in an attempt to kill robin. He had almost succeeded, but then Robin had told him the truth about his brother's death. So, Carter and Robin had foiled the Sheriff's plans to kill Robin, and almost made off with the gold. He then returned the Holy Land.
Then, a long time later, someone (Carter had no idea who he was) had come to the camp and told King Richard that there were travelers with a Saracen woman that was going to kill him! Carter didn't think too much of this until Robin had his gang had come. Robin, Much, Allan A'Dale (who had worked for the Sheriff last time Carter had been to Nottingham), John….and then Will had come with Djaq. Carter had completely forgotten Djaq was a Saracen.
King Richard had ordered the outlaws to be tied up in the desert. Carter had helped, though it was with a heavy heart. Halfway through tying up Much, Carter decided he would rescue him.
A few hours after they had been tied up, Carter got on his horse and rode though the desert until he got to the place where they were tied. In the couple of hours Carter had been away, someone had tied Marian to Robin's prison. Carter got off his horse and walked over to John, who he cut free first.
Eventually, all the outlaws had gotten cut free. They knew they had to save King Richard. They then proceeded to warn King Richard, send Robin as a decoy king, and follow Vaisey, Guy, and a couple of random Saracens and Crusaders to a deserted town.
That was where they were now. It must have been evacuated or something, because Carter didn't see anyone except his comrades and his enemies.
They split up. Carter had seen the Sheriff go into the west part of the town, so he followed him. He pulled out his swords, ready to kill any enemy.
Carter spotted the Sheriff go into an alley. He sprinted for the location, swords in hand. He turned the corner and was met with a blade just under his ribs.
Naturally, Carter died.
