You are invited to take a vacation to Las Vegas to meet the rest of the gang again as a reunion since we haven't seen each other in a year.

Shadow flipped the back of the card to see a flight ticket taped on it. It had been one year since he had seen practically anyone, mainly because most of them move moved away, including Amy. The only person he lived close by was Cream, but even then he had never even visited Cream, mostly because you know it was Cream.

A ring from the phone interrupted his thoughts.

"Hello?" he said.

He was greeted by a high pitch feminine voice,"Hello, Shadow, can I ask you a favor?"

It was Vanilla, how she even got his number was beyond him but he replied,"Yes?"

"Well, Cream got an invitation to join everyone at Las Vegas, but I need someone to take care of her while she's away."

Shadow knew where this was going but he stayed silent anyway.

She continued,"You're the only one who lives close so can you take care of her?"

"Sure I guess." He really didn't like the idea but he agreed anyway.

At the airport -

"Mr. Shadow, can I use the bathroom?" Cream said, her caramel eyes looking up at him.

"Sure, let me just take your bags." he sighed.

"Ok!"

After cream ran into the bathroom, Shadow thought about what he was going to do in Las Vegas. He thought why was he really going, Las Vegas had nothing to offer him, also it's in the middle of nowhere. He noticed most malls and such are in the middle of nowhere. 'Wonder why.' he thought to himself.

He suddenly noticed his bag wasn't with him anymore. It was in the hands of a running thief, and Shadow quickly ran to grab his beloved suitcase.

"TERMINAL C IS BOARDING IN 1 MINUTE."

Shadow silently cursed to himself, knowing he had to hurry up. He finally caught up and quickly snatched the suitcase and ran back to the terminal, not bothering to see who the thief was. He was almost to the Terminal when he tripped a suitcase, making him fall on his face. he got up again and ran to the terminal.

After getting on the plane with Cream, Shadow endured 3 hours of annoying kids, crying babies and the person next to him who was snoring as loud as a lion. Finally getting off the plane, he and cream went to look for Amy, after an hour of looking he finally found her.

"Hello Shadow!" Amy said brightly, her glee and excitement practically bouncing off of her.

Her attention turn to cream and instantly ran forward to hug her with a grip that could kill someone.

"Ha Sonic, I was right!"

"Well Tails, I guess I owe you 5 bucks!" Shadow turned to see Sonic (still very annoying) and an older looking Tails talking to each other.

"Hello faker." Shadow said, his voice emotionless.

Sonic was about to say some stupid remark before he was interrupted by Amy.

"EVERYONE HERE?!"She yelled thought the crowd of people.

Murmurs of 'Yes' answered Amy's question.

"COME BY ME SO I DON'T HAVE TO YELL!"Amy yelled, obviously angry, making everyone wince in pain by the loudness of her voice.

Soon a crowd of people got closer to her.

"Now I will pick 4 names from a hat and that will be one group."

"Group 1,
Shadow, Blaze, Cream, Tails."

"Group 2
Knuckles, Charmy, Marine, Sonic."

"Group 3
Amy, Silver, Espio, Rouge."

Amy continued," Now, w-"

She was interrupted by a drunk guy in a fox suit screaming,"WHAT THE FOX SAY !"

Tails face look like he just saw the most disgusting thing on the planet and muttered ,"Why me."
