The white haired mage watched wearily as the blonde walked over to the bar again in silence. Lisanna's smile faltered, shoulders sagging in sympathy. She wouldn't know what it would feel like to have a life as unfortunate as Lucy's, but she's also had her fair share of misfortune. Her smile worked its way back up though when Natsu casually draped his arm around her shoulders. The take-over mage full on laughed as Natsu almost immediately let go and then challenged Gray to a fight. She sat down next to Erza and talked the day away.
All thoughts of the Celestial mage fluttered out of her mind as she recollected more memories of their past, a past where Gray, Natsu, Erza, her and her siblings had fun with no worries in the world.
The sky was turning orange and it was getting late. Most Fairy Tail members waving goodnight to the remaining mages. The take-over mage waved back as Erza left the guild, the aura of an authoritative presence following behind her. Her hand fell limply at her side as she walked over to the bar, signaling her sister for some tea.
This was always around the time wherein she would do nothing but think.
As the steaming cup was set before her, she thanked her sister before absentmindedly stirring her tea with a spoon.
She missed everyone, she really did, but so many things were different. She never thought she could be jealous, but she is. She admitted it.
She knew what it felt like. She grew up with the green monster inside her, growing accustomed to the feeling. Though she's felt it before, it doesn't stop her from feeling disgusted. She hated it, how she was so jealous. She was jealous of everyone's closeness, as stupid as that sounds. How could so much happen without her? How could so much happen in such a short amount of time? How could people act so different?
She very well knew how. She only learned recently after her arrival back in Earthland that everyone was so devastated to the point of change. Her poor siblings taking the biggest blow. The mere sight of her sister now reminded her of how Edolas had different characteristics, but same people. Then again, practically everyone now reminded her of Edolas.
Edolas.
The thought of the alternate universe made her smile a bitter smile. She hated how she led them on, but she knew they forgave her. That didn't stop her from feeling horrible though. Even with the many assurances from her friends in both Edolas and Earthland, she still didn't feel right. Where did she belong?
She sighed into her cup, was she being over dramatic? Her head fell loudly onto the countertop, causing her cup to nearly topple over before a pale hand reached over to stop it.
"Are you okay?" A soft voice came from her left and she looked up through her silvery white hair.
"Lucy?" She whispered before suddenly sitting upright, causing the blonde to flinch back and set her cup down.
The Celestial mage sat down on the barstool, hands folded neatly on her lap.
"I'm okay" her voice had a softer tone to it, one she only used for her siblings, "sorry for worrying you"
Lucy smiled, "it's fine, I just noticed how you always look so... contemplative around this time, what are you thinking about?"
Her last question rang around in her mind, making her eyes widen. What was she thinking about? Everyone changes, everyone's different. She knew that. Two years is just two years, she knew everyone would do their best to help her fit right back in. 'Where did she belong?' She belonged in Fairy Tail! With her siblings, with her friends. There was nothing to think about.
Lisanna smiled at the blonde, "something silly" she answered, giggling at her thoughts once more. Lucy tilted her head to the side in confusion before cracking a smile. She knew, she was definitely going to look forward to her friendship with the Celestial mage.
