Hai! So.. This whole thing's gonna be in Marceline's point of view.. It sounds like Finnceline at first, but it's not. Hope you enjoy! -CB
Finn spun around in a 360 degree turn, and just as he was about to kill the monster he was fighting... Crash. The monster moved it's arm and flung Finn against the tree, causing the young human boy to crumple in pain. I quickly floated over to the monster, swung my axe bass at it's head, and it fell to the ground, causing the earth below it to shake. I floated over to Finn, who was trying to sit up. He looked as if he was in intense pain, but, he wasn't crying.
"Finn? Are you okay..?" I began, looking over the hurt little boy, with care. I really care about Finn. He's pretty much my best friend.
"Y-Yeah.." He stuttered. He never stuttered. I knew then, that he was seriously hurt, when I noticed a trickle of blood flowing down his forehead, branching off every now and again, leaving a crimson trail behind it. I spoke in alarm;
"Finn! You're bleeding! Did you hit your head?!" No response. "Finn..?" I looked at him. He was now slumped against the tree, unconscious. Now I was panicking.
"Finn! Gob, I shouldn't bring you adventuring without Jake!" I carefully lifted Finn from the ground, and gingerly poked the wound on his forehead, knowing that I wouldn't be able to resist my lust for blood for long.
The trip to the Tree Fort would take about an hour.. I couldn't wait that long, I couldn't wait to see his sapphire blue eyes again, just to make sure he was okay. Even with floating as quickly as I could, it'd still take too long. I needed Jake. And fast. Grabbing my fish-phone from the pocket of my skin-tight jeans, I dialled Jake's number. He picked up on the second ring:
"Hello, Jake here."
"Jake! Thank GLOB, I need you, like, right now!"
"..Why? Marceline.. What's happened?" Now he sounded scared. Great, you're scaring him.
"Just a little mishap." I try to sound light and breezy, but I can't in this situation.
"How little?"
"Well... Finn's out cold."
"..Yeah, real little, Marceline." He sighed. "Where are you!"
"..Uh, like, an hour away."
"By the place where the Hyoomans live?"
"..Around there.."
"Stay put. Keep an eye on my bro." With that he hangs up, and I can't help but feel guilty. It was my fault. I'd brought him here. This always happens when we're out alone.. One of us always gets hurt.
