"Uuugh."
Arthur groaned for what seemed like the hundredth time resting on the couch hand on his swollen stomach. Ludwig stared down at the heavily pregnant Englishman.
"Are you alright?"
Arthur glared.
"What do you think?"
He hissed looking up at the German, Ludwig sighed.
"Right stupid question."
"Indeed."
Ludwig and Arthur stared at one another for a moment until Ludwig spoke again.
"Is there anything I can do?"
Arthur shifted onto his side facing away from Ludwig.
"Die, Then I'll be content knowing you paid for this crime against me."
Well that was a just being over dramatic. Ludwig opened his mouth to respond but closed it realizing Arthur had every right to be over dramatic. It was a very odd situation the pair found them selves in. It still confused and irritated them now after months of time to cope. Though this wasn't exactly something you can cope with now can you? Ludwig Sighed looking back down at Arthur who he had just now noticed had fallen asleep. Ludwig stared at the slumbering brit for a moment. Fr the past few months these were the things he come to love. Okay that sounded bad! What he meant was ever since this…blessing? Well that's what most said in this case though there was normally a woman involved but still! Arthur had been on edge and an over dramatic emotional mess.
Ludwig Loved Arthur he really did but he had already been like this before the pregnancy only now it was much worse. Arthur was always on his case it took every thing Ludwig had to stay calm…well around Arthur. Oh the poor people Ludwig took his misguided rage out on. It was nice to see Arthur so at peace it gave Ludwig relief for himself and his love. Though it was true this whole thing was hard on Ludwig he knew it was harder on Arthur. Ludwig smiled before wrapping his arms under Arthur and lifting him ff the couch.
"Mmm Ludwig what are you doing?"
Arthur mumbled arm's instantly wrapping his arms around Ludwig's neck. Ludwig smiled noting what little fight Arthur had in him at the moment.
"I'm taking you to bed."
Arthur gave a playfully smile.
"Awe Ludwig I'd love to but I'm to tired."
Ludwig blushed.
"Nien! Not like that!"
Arthur laughed at the outburst and rested his head on Ludwig's shoulder as he fumed.
"Thank you Lud."
"Your welcome liebe."
Ludwig set Arthur down on the bed. Ludwig kneeled at the side of the bed. Arthur smiled seeing that Ludwig was still red from the joke. Ludwig returned the smile before giving Arthur a quick kiss.
"Sleep well."
Arthur frowned.
"Don't go."
Ludwig Gave Arthur a look before sighing. What the hell it had been a long day he could go to bed early. Arthur rolled onto his side as Ludwig walked to the other side of the bed before crawling in. Arthur instantly cuddled closer to Ludwig, which wasn't that close due to his swollen stomach. Ludwig pulled the covers over Arthur knowing they'd just end up back on his side during the night.
"I Love you."
Arthur yawned before completely falling asleep. Ludwig smiled.
"I love you too."
Ludwig sighed even though Arthur couldn't hear him. Though it was awhile before Ludwig started to fall asleep when he finally did he was happy. Until he was woken up by the lovely sounds of his boyfriend panicked cries as he went into labor.
