The sky was black like it always was in The World That Never Was. In fact, Luxord thought, that was supposedly the reason Xemnas had made their cloack black, too.

"Your turn, Luxy", the man in front of him said.

"Oh, right", the blonde said absentmindly and placed some cards onto the table.

"Hey, what's wrong? You're not yourself."

Luoxrd shook his head like he had lost something.

"Luxy, I'm worried about you! Your playing SUCKS!"

"Really, Xigbar! I'm alright, dammit!"

"Yea right. Why don't you act normally, then?"

"It's nothing. Your turn."

Xigbar was too good at some things. Like shooting. And, what bothered Luxord most, knowing when something was wrong.

Because something really was wrong, even if he wanted to tell himself that everything was allright. But the problem was a major and that fact made it more problematic. What a pain in the ass.

He just wanted to be loved by someone because he loved that someone. But hey we're Nobodies. Nobodies don't feel. They can't.

Absentmindly he placed some cards on the table. Then he suddenly placed all his cards onto the table and looked staright to the one-eyed man.

"Hey Xigbar, do you love me?"

"What? Pfft, as if. We're Nobodies! Did you hit your head or something, eh, Luxy?"

Luxord smiled sadly. "Thought you'd say that."

"Yea, but you know how much I want you?"

"I know."

Falling into thoughtful silence, Luxord collected all the cards from the table and started to shuffle the deck.

"But just so you know… I think I love you."

Xigbar looked at Luxord, his expression was little bit annoyed, more surprised and mainly something that seemed like a mixture of happiness and embarrassment.

"What…what on earth makes you think that?" The sniper said, cheeks flushed and a tremble in his voice.

"I've had these quite… bothering thought for some time already. They keep me awake in the night time", the gambler started, still shuffling the deck and looking straight to the eye of his partner.

"Because in my opinion, you love someone when you want them to love you – sincerely, with no second thoughts… Or that's how it's alway been for me. Or, when you want to give your everything to that someone… You see, all I ask is to wake up next to you tomorrow. And the day after tomorrow. And the day after that and so on."

Xigbar looked astonished and it took a good while for him to recover.

Then he laughed.

"Come 'ere, you fool", he said with a smile in his voice.

Luxord stood up, knowing that if he didn't go, Xigbar would come to him.

"Sit down", Xigbar said, patting his lap. Luxord sat down.

"Listen carefully now, Luxy. If that's all you ask, if that's all you want from me… I'm happy to give it to you. And some extra, maybe… Because if what you said is true…and I believe it is… I love you."

Yaaay. Oneshot. When I should be working on my chapter fics and such… uu I know I've got more important stuff to do. Like reading for the math test. But anyhoo.

Hope you like it. I TRIED to make it nice and cute and fluff but nooooo. I'm no good. It must be full of horrible typos, too. OO I always make horrible typos. Like in my english test, I wrote 'address' 'adress'. The reason I didn't get 100 right.
