The day began as any other day. The sunlight seeping in through the curtains. The alarm clocks non stop beeping. The long yawn as you sit up stretching out your arms. Finally you reach over to the alarm sitting next to your bed. It reads 8:30 am. Dragging myself over to my wardrobe I grab the closest clothes to me.
I got dressed into a skin tight jeans but got baggy by the knees and downwards, a white blouse with a light blue jacket, to match. The house was empty, yeah like I'm gonna wake up and theres a family waiting for me downstairs. Pfft. I slipped my necklace around my neck and walked to the kitchen.
I sipped my apple juice, switched on the radio and made some pancakes. I collected the newspaper out on my doorstep ad the mail. I went to the table in the kitchen and read the paper. Front page read: 5TH MURDER-AND STILL NO LEADS. Just as I finished reading that title the news on the radio came on.
"It's that time of day and I'm your host Dane Toki. A woman's body was found early this morning. Police says that she was crushed by sand, just like the other 2 victims. Officials warn are warning everyone to stay indoors at all time during the night." I looked over to my left with some pancake still hanging from my mouth. I took a gulp, then choked. I coughed for a second then calmed down. I stood and walked to the radio. I stood infront of it and waited for Dane Toki to finish his speech.
"Police man Moio has the full story"
"Yes we found a woman's body in the grass. Forensic analysis says that she was wrapped in sand then it squeezed the life out of her." Spoke Moio, with strange noises in the background.
"The woman was revealed to be Toyuya Maghane. Toyuya mother of three, recently had an argument with her divorced husband. George Gadre is in trail for suspision of murder. Iam Dane Toki with your morning news." I switched off the radio and sighed.
"Yeah like anyones gonna stay out after dark. Especially with this lunatic murder on th loose. Who's dumb enough to do that?" I said to myself, shrugged my shoulders and walked out the door locking it behind me.
