Author's Note:This is Part 6 of the series of one-shots for Valentine's Day. My friends requested me to write these for a few of their favourite characters, and so...here goes!

Valentine's Day One-Shot entry 6: Usui Takumi (Kaichou wa Maid-sama)

STALKER

"Hey, Misaki, can you wait for me outside?" you asked your best friend, Misaki Ayuzawa.

"Sure thing!" the enthusiastic brunette replied, waving at you and walking down the stairs. You watched her go, and immediately whipped around like a secret agent.

"Okay, you alien! I know you're out here somewhere!" you moved towards the door of the classroom at a slow pace.

"Why the hell are you stalking my friend, huh? I'm warning you, if you do anything to her, you're dead meat." You shouted. A soft laugh came to you as a reply.

"And are you the one who's going to turn me into dead meat? Do you not think that the Student Council President is able enough to defend herself? After all, she's the President of Seika High, a school where prior to you, the boys, who you two call savages, reigned." A disturbingly familiar voice ringed in your ears. "You know she doesn't need a bodyguard."

"Yes! But still! As a friend, I shall not abandon her! She's my best friend!" you shouted back with confidence. You meant to be intimidating, but the stalker-alien-thing found you anything but. Usui Takumi walked out of the shadows. You glared at him. He, however, walked forwards towards you without any sigh of backing out. Well, you weren't backing out either! This alien can't freak you out now!

But, unpredictable as he is, he simply walked so close to you, that he cornered you against the wall. He played with a few strands of your (h/c) locks, and smiled at you mischievously.

"Do you think she would do the same for you? After all, she left you here and didn't even care to ask you what you're up to." Takumi, as usual, managed to hit a point where you would end up having an inconvenient answer.

"That…that's because…she respects my privacy!" you finally came up with something. You had to move! Heck, you didn't like being so close to this alien who was your friend's enemy.

Wait. He was your friend's enemy. Not your enemy.

Then, why were you fighting him like this? No, you had priorities. This was for your friend's well-being.

"By the way, why do you think I'm following Misaki?" asked Takumi, with genuine curiosity.

"You are always behind us-wait! You aren't stalking Misaki?" You were shocked as the blonde shook his head gently.

"But…then, why are you following us all the time?"

"Misaki's not the only girl I'm going behind when I'm following you two, am I?"

"But, she's the only one you would go after and we walk together and I have always noticed you following us, Misaki and I-" You stopped without finishing your sentence, as realization kicked in.

"I could have been following you all along, couldn't I?"
