Ariel--She was his life saver, for years he'd been drowning in his guilt and misery, then she'd come into his life with sunshine and laughter, like chimes. With her childish, lullaby voice he'd grown to love the rosette until sometimes the only thing that would pull him out of the ocean and wake him up was her.
Belle- Everyone had been afraid of him because of his skin, because of his abnormalities. It wasn't until a child, whose own genetic quirk set her apart as a child, smiled up at his and patted his blue cheek, no fear evident, that he started to believe in something maybe(justmaybe) better than fear and hatred.
Aurora/Sleeping Beauty- They were all protective over her, keeping her miles away from harms way. So the one time an enemy got through their guard and to her, injuring her with a kunai to the stomach, he'd stayed by her side until she woke up (a few hours that felt like days) later, he was pleased he was the first one her green eyes found.
Cinderella- She'd been a tomboy, having grown up around ninjas who gave her gifts like kunais and shuriken instead of dolls and make-up. So. even though it came as a surprise, when she asked to pleasepleaseplease have a pretty princess dress, the older girl could do nothing but give into the girls wishes, just like always.
Jasmine- Like any caged bird, no matter how ornate and spacious that cage may be or how lovely the other inhabitants, she wished to explore the outside world, to walk through the faraway village she'd only glanced at through the window. She'd wanted it so bad, to taste the food of the festival at the festival, instead of when it was brought home to her, that she snuck out just once and managed to make it all the way to the outskirts before he found her.
Mulan- He'd always been somewhat of a father figure to her, a voice of reason in the insanity of her impromptu family. So, of course, it was only natural that she would want to do anything she could to impress him, to see the proud half-smile on his face whenever she did something right.
Alice- Sometimes, she wished he would grow up, would stop acting so childish and talking like a child, even though she herself was still one. She wished he would be more mature and not want to play childish games with her, though she was always thankful that their was always someone there in that world of adults who wasn't serious and didn't mind playing hide and go seek or have a tea party, fancy hat and all.
Jane- He'd always had savage urges, the taste for blood since he'd been young...since war and fueding and driven him to do unspeakable acts. He'd long ago locked away petty emotions like guilt or regret away. So, he was surprised when this one girl could rock his world and what he knew, could bring out the softer side of him, could tame him.
Wendy- He wished she could stay young forever, innocent and beautiful, like true art. And she often wondered about his fascination with staying young forever, after all, everyone grows up at some point, right?
Snow White- She would do all she could to help out her family, from cooking to cleaning (they were forever messy) and in turn they gave her love (that ever love they could muster with their twisted lives and emotions).
