Chapter 1: Ryotsuki
A girl was running through the streets, bag slung over arm and long, light blue hair flowing in the wind. She was headed for the academy because today is the day she finally graduates, the day she finally gets to be released from the torment of holding back, the day she can finally become jounin, or so she thought.
When she arrived, only one student was there, Sasuke.
Sasuke thought that the girl was weird and amazing. She never listened in class but always passed the tests with the highest score, though she chose to keep it a secret. Iruka-Sensei never announced her score and he only knew she was higher was because she was his seatmate. She always seemed to get perfect as if she already went through the academy multiple times.
Ever since the very first day of school Otsuka Ryotsuki and Uchiha Sasuke were secretly rivals, or so Sasuke thought. She was always one-upping him on purpose, or so he thought. She was just there because the Hokage didn't know what to make of her and she was just doing her best to get out.
Blue eyes met onyx ones in silent greeting when Ryotsuki got to her seat.
She took out a sketch pad that was halfway filled with drawings. A few were ideas for clothing, others were just drawings of the scenery. No one knew that though. It was like her own secret idea sheet. Sasuke would occasionally glance over her shoulder but he could never understand why she drew so many unknown ninja clothes.
After 20 minutes, more people started coming in. She noticed that many chose to sit next to friends because Iruka-Sensei had allowed it.
Iruke then started the exams and started calling names. Ryotsuki continued drawing until she was called.
"Otsuka Ryotsuki!"
She sighed and got up, Sasuke watching as she exited the room.
