I sighed as I plopped myself on the leather couch in my flat, running a hand through my bright red hair. My name is Wally West, aka Kid Flash, the honorary titan. Yeah I know, you're probably wondering why I'm so sad today. Well, surprisingly my whole world was turned upside down, thanks to one girl. A girl with bubble gum pink hair and pink, cat-like eyes.
That girl was Jinx.
The one and only Jinx, aka the leader of the Hive Five.
Yeah I know again, you're probably thinking WHAT?!?! But she's a villain and you're a hero!!! That can't work out!!! And all that stuff that I don't really care about.
Yup.
But, every time I tried to "convert" Jinx, the short-tempered girl would just hex me.
She's cold and she's cruel but she knows what she's doin'
She pushed me in the pool at our last school reunion
She was different from the many other girls that I had previously dated. When I flirted with her, she just laughed and pushed me away.
She laughs at my dreams but I dream about her laughter
Yet, I knew that she was the one.
Strange as it seems she's the one I'm after
I still didn't know how Jinx could possibly be the one. I mean, I was a hero, she was a villain. Plus, she wanted nothing to do with me.
Cause she's bittersweet she knocks me off of my feet
And I can't help myself I don't want anyone else
Truthfully, I didn't care if she was bad. I was still gonna chase after her.
She's a mystery she's too much for me
But I keep comin' back for more she's just the girl I'm lookin' for
Something about her just left me looking real stupid
She can't keep a secret, for more than an hour
When I watched her rob stores with a smirk on her pale face, and her cat-like eyes gleaming mischievously
She runs on 100 proof attitude power
Every time when I got pushed away by her, with the same words every time, I'm bad luck, good was never an option for me, it just all made me more determined.
And the more she ignores me, the more I adore her
Sooner or later, I became head over heels about her.
What can I do? I'd do anything for her
The only way for me to talk to her was when I caught her in crime.
The way she sees it's me on her caller ID
But when I found her, she would ignore me entirely and ask if I was gonna turn her in.
She won't pick up the phone she'd rather be alone
Why I even bothered with the bubble gum colored hair bad luck I had no idea. The thing that kept me going was the fact that I couldn't get her out of my head.
But I can't give up just yet cause every word she's ever said
Is still ringin' in my head still ringin' in my head
Even though she seemed evil, with her crime and her team, I knew truly, inside she was a hero.
She's cold and she's cruel but she knows what she's doin'
No matter how bad she hurt me, physically and emotionally, I was never going to give up.
Knows just what to say so my whole day is ruined
Someday, I would get her to turn good and become my girlfriend.
