I'D RATHER HAVE COFFEE

Dawn was struggling to appear despite the inundation of sullen, rain-burdened clouds when Sam and Dean stumbled across the threshold into their current dwelling. Wet, shuddering with cold, Sam half-dragged Dean to his pallet, and eased him down, wincing at Dean's choked cry of pain. Glancing at Dean's pale, sweaty face, he pushed his jacket aside, shoved the ruined t-shirt upward. Getting a good look at the wound on Dean's belly for the first time, Sam grimaced.
"Bad?" Dean gasped.
"Bad enough. Lots of stitching."
"Awesome. Just the way I like to start the day."
"Really? I'd rather have coffee."
