England smiled down at his newest little colony.
They just grow up too fast…
The little kid's big green eyes and sandy hair reminded the bigger nation of what he looked like when he was little
"Australia…"
He warned cautiously as the adventurous boy began to poke at some random sleeping animal.
England had brought Australia with him to a National Park, because the little colony seemed to like the outdoors.
The mysterious animal decided that being poked by a kid wasn't so much fun anymore.
It slowly rose, stood on its hind legs, and literally jumped off, it's long tail thumping the ground.
England let out a little shriek, and grabbed up Australia.
One hand pointed, shaking, at the retreating animal.
"What..was…that???"
He asked the younger colony as he took some deep calming breaths.
"Kangaroo."
Was the reply as Australia shrugged his tiny shoulders.
"Kangaroo, eh?"
England said disbelieving.
"Kangaroo!"
Repeated Australia, looking upset at their lack of communication.
"Kangaroo it is then. I'm going to have to tell America that one. C'mon. Let's go home. We've had enough excitement for today."
And England carried Australia all the way home.
Australia, of course, was very upset.
England was so confusing sometimes!
