Disclaimer: I don't own anything. I recently got into this show and completely feel in love with Calleigh/Eric. This is my first CSI story so let me know what you think.
The soft light from the television illuminated the room, casting large shadows on the wall. Eric Delko lay on the couch, a blanket half covered his tan, bare chest.
"There is still no word on the missing woman, Calleigh Duquesne who has been missing for two days now. The police are still searching and there is a reward for any information that could help lead to discovery of her." Eric reached his for phone and sighed, he had no new messages.
"Calleigh, where are you?" He thought, hitting the re-dial button and waited, already knowing it was pointless.
"The voice box you are currently trying to reach is full and cannot accept new messages." A computerized voice responded.
"Damn it." Groaning, Eric stood up and walked toward the kitchen, opening the fridge he reached for a bottle of water. He failed miserably as he tried to control the fear and concern he was feeling for his southern belle. He was trying to keep his emotions in check but he had always had a hard time when it came to her. Even now he was having a hard time following Horatio's simple order of getting a night's rest. He uncapped the bottle and took a drink, he rubbed his tired eyes. How he could rest when he had no idea where she was? He shudder at the scenarios his mind created.
A soft knock took him from his thoughts. He quickly sat the water down on the counter and sprinted towards the door. There was another knock and this time followed by soft, familiar voice.
"E-Eric?"
He opened the door, swiftly without hesitation knowing who the voice belonged to but he was not expecting the image that awaited him. Calleigh stood in front of him leaning against the frame of the door. Her white blouse was torn and stained with blood, her hands and arms were caked with dry blood. Her blond hair was unkempt, dry blood clung to her golden strands. There was dried blood underneath her nose and her skin was pale with dark bruises smeared blood.
"E-Eric?" She spoke again, her voice trembled and her body shook.
"Calleigh," He answered, stepping forward and taking her in his arm, "My God, what happened to you?"
"I-I don't k-know." She responded and he had never heard her so unsure in his life. Her voice was distance and full of confusion. Eric took in a deep breath, his heart throbbed hard against his chest.
"I think, I need to sit down." She told him, and he noted that her hand reached to touch her ribs tenderly.
"Okay." He spoke softly, leading her to the couch his arms on her waist to steady her. She sat down slowly and he took his place right beside her.
"Calleigh, look at me." Eric commanded his hand gently reaching for her cheek, pulling her face close to his. His brown eyes stared into her green which were glossy and glazed.
"Not good."
"Eric, I can't remember anything." Her voice filled with fear.
"It's okay," He told her, pulling her close to his side, "But right now, you're hurt and we have to get you to a hospital."
"Eric, I can't remember anything and not all of this is my blood." She spoke, tears forming in her eyes, "I think I might have hurt someone."
So I wrote this rather quickly when I found a moment to myself and I'm not really happy with how it turned out, but tell me what you think. Good? Bad? Ugly? Should I keep going? Please review.
