Spring is in the Air

As Keiichi was getting his motorcycle to go to Whirlwind he noticed that it was going to be another beautiful spring day. The flowers blooming, the birds singing courting songs, and there was just a feeling of new beginnings in the air.
His peaceful moment was suddenly interrupted by the sounds of yeowling from several cats. He had gotten use to the stray animals that came to visit with Belldandy, what he hadn't noticed was the unusual number of cats wandering the temple grounds the past few days. The sounds they were making could have raised the dead from blocks away. Unfortunately they had waken something far more dangerous. Urd had spent the entire night drinking an impressive amount of sake.
"Can't a goddess get some sleep around here?" is heard just before the sultry silver-haired goddess stumbles out of her room. "Hey Keiichi, what did you do this time? AND you will make it up for this.. when I am feeling better."
"Hey! I'm innocent this time, I don't know what is happening." he says as he cringes, with reason, from her. He remembered the last time he woke her by accident, she had caused a thumbtack to appear every time he sat for over a week. He still was cautious about sitting.
"Bell, could you come here for a minute" Urd started calling into the house.
"Good Morning sister, I see you are up early today Urd, I didn't expect to see you before lunch" Belldandy says with usual bubbly smile. Which as always causes Keiichi to get distracted, so he forgets what he was supposed to be doing.
"We need you to ask these cats what the problem is, and you know I can't, cats won't talk to me." Urd grumbles "Arrogant little beasts". A couple cats look over at her, hiss and turn away. "See what I mean."
"Urd, if you stopped trying to put parts of them in your potions they might be nicer to you" Keiichi mutters under his breath.
"Give me a minute to see what the problem is" Belldandy says as she kneels to talk with particular large male tabby. As she listens a light blush comes to her cheeks, then a small giggle escapes from her lips. "I see but I can't be much help in this matter."
As Belldandy stands Urd pesters her "Well what seems to be the problem?"
Alternating between blushing and giggling she stammers" Well it seems that.. Um.. that is.. how do I say this.. they are all here to see Welspar."
"Welspar.. why would they want to see that demon for?"
"Well.. UM.. it is that time of year." as she blushes even more.
"I don't understand, what about this time of year" Keiichi says with a blank innocent look on his face.
Urd with a puzzled expression on her face, looks at the cats, Bell's blushing face, back to the cats, and again at Bell when it hits her. She starts laughing so hard she can't stop the tears from flowing.
As usual Keiichi stands there clueless to what is happening. He looks back and forth from Belldandy's flaming face to Urd's almost hysterical one for a few moments before he remembers an obvious fact. He turns beet red then he also starts to chuckle at the situation. Belldandy eventually joins them in the laughter.
From up top the roof comes the wail of a VERY distressed demon "I didn't ask to be sent back as a FEMALE cat!"
"Keiichi, does this give you any suggestions" smirks Urd as she winks at him.
"URD!" is all they can say as the two blush bright enough to be seen from space.
