The gray ship's engines blazed white as it lifted up from the spacedock and headed back into the sky.
The Sith Lord had arrived on yet another planet. He lingered on the spacedock as his companion went on ahead of him.From where he was he could see out over the city and to the wilderness beyond. Someday he would rule this whole world, the whole galaxy.... Maybe more.
"Are you coming" his companion called back to him.
The Sith Lord didn't reply, lost in his own thoughts he was. His long plans would soon enough come to realization. But sometimes he wondered if it was worth it. Giving himself over to the dark side. Watching as over the centuries, bit by bit his body was lost. All that was left of him remained in this mechanical shell.
His companion called his name a few times trying to get his attention.
The Sith Lord simply ignored him.
His mind now turn to the plans he laid. His enemies were all but gone. There were no younger Sith trying for power. He had used the Jedi to destroy them. Guiding them unknowingly. There were but few Jedi now as well. And when the time came, they would be easily destroyed. Then he alone would be the last of the Jedi. The only dark Sith Lord! Ruler of the Force itself.
"Come on! They are waiting for us." his companion was starting to get agitated now.
The Sith lord finally freed himself from his wandering mind and started toward his companion. After all he was really annoying when he gets himself all flustered.
"Really I just don't know what gets into you sometimes R2", C3PO said to the little droid.
"I often wonder who programmed you. Sometimes you just don't act like a droid at all."
