Rose was lost and completely alone. She couldn't remember how she got there. Where was Shaggy? It was dark and the shadows were all around her.
"Shaggy?" she called but got no response.
The house was large and creepy and she was alone. Rose didn't like it.
"Shaggy this isn't funny! Where are you?"
"You lied to him so he left you" came a voice.
"Who said that" Rose asked.
" Oh you know who I am" the voice laughed.
"Who are you? Where's Shaggy?"
"With me where he belongs"
" Googie?" Rose asked slowly putting it together.
Googie stepped out of the shadows with Shaggy. An evil smile on their face sent chills down Rose's spine.
"See here he is" Googie mocked.
"What? I don't understand" Rose replied greatly confused.
"Well you always were stupid" Shaggy said.
"What?"
"Aww poor Rose her poor brain can't handle it" Googie mocked.
"Maybe that's why her father got rid of her" Shaggy added .
"Well we've wasted enough time. Let's go Shaggy" Googie said
Shaggy and Googie disappeared leaving Rose in darkness.
She was very confused. All the halls looked the same. The doors seemed to lead to the same room. Rose felt like she was walking in circles . She couldn't find the way out. She needed a friend. What was happening to her? Why was she here? What was going on? Why was Shaggy gone? Why had Googie been there? All Rose wanted were answers. Finally falling to the floor she let the sobs overtake her.
Rose sat up in her bed. Her heart pounding rapidly. It had just been a dream. A horrible dream. It was clear she wasn't going to be able to sleep anytime soon. So she got up and walked into the living room. She was still shaking so she grabbed a spare blanket and wrapped it around herself.
Rose didn't want to be alone so she grabbed her phone and quickly called Shaggy.
...
Shaggy jolted awake as his phone went off. Who could be calling him at this hour?
"Hello?"
"Shaggy I'm sorry I woke you up"
"Rose it's three am" Shaggy mumbled not quite awake.
"I know I'm really sorry but I-I had a bad dream and I don't want to be alone"
"I'll be there in five minutes" Shaggy said comming to his senses
Five minutes later Shaggy was on the couch while Rose told him about the dream. Rose was nearly in tears by the end of her explanation. Shaggy got up and gently guided her to the couch. Rose was shaking badly. Shaggy let her cry knowing that the nightmare had scared her quite a bit.
"It's okay Rose I'm right here and I won't leave you"
"I-I was alone. I nev-never want want to be alone" Rose sobbed.
"I'll never leave you alone I promise" Shaggy said.
"Never?"
"never" Shaggy promised as they drifted off to sleep
