Naruto walked back from trying to capture Sasuke and return him to the village.
His head hung low, he walked through the gates. That's when he heard the shouts of the villagers.
"Get Him!" they had formed a circle around him and the ones closest to him in the circle of angry faces were shinobi. No amount of jutsu would get him out of there. One villager threw kunai at his legs, rendering them useless as he fell to the ground in agony.
"That is for Taking away our last Uchiha. It is your fault he has betrayed the village and went to Orochimaru." They sneered at him.
They got closer to his fallen form and he struggled against them, but someone was on top of him to hold him down and another was tying his hands behind his back. He fought against their hold but it was useless.
They dragged him to the center of the village and tied him up to the tallest tree that stood in the middle of town. They threw wood at his feet. He knew he couldn't be saved by anyone since the third hokage was dead. He yelled out to them as they lit katon jutsus to start the fire.
"May the gods damn you all!" he yelled out to them before the fires rose up to take his last breath.
"The gods did damn us the moment you were born Demon!"
Naruto awoke to find himself in the presence of a red haired woman dressed in white.
"I am the goddess Artemis. I will help you extract your vengance on these lowly humans. All I need is your soul and for you to swear to give me your eternal loyalty, and you will see this village burned to the ground." She spoke softly to him.
" I agree and I swear to serve you loyally Artemis." He said with a wide grin on his face. She nodded and placed a blue double bow and arrow mark on his forearm and she told him that after he got his revenge he would meet someone who would train him.
"you have a special gift Naruto Uzumaki, you are my only dark hunter to have a companion to aid you in your battles. The kyuubi that was once sealed inside you is now your bonded companion to help you." She said to him before she transported him back to Konoha.
