Summary: What would happen if they suddenly met out of the blue? How would she react seeing him change after all these years and how would he react to the new her that he never really thought that would happen?
It was calming and quiet. All Sakura can hear are the chirping birds and the sound of lush green leaves paving its way to the ground brought by the warm summer breeze. 'Oh how I wish I could spend the rest of my life sitting here, relaxing. That would be nice.' She thought. Not until she sense someone's chakra. It was dark, cold and confused? She was about to turn but she was greeted by a kunai. It was thrown right at her! 'This is bad. How could I be so stupid? I let my guard down now I have to face whoever this shit is, alone!' Luckily, it hit the tree that she was leaning to not long ago.
"Who's there?" she hisses at her unknown opponent.
But there was silence. No one responded.
"Come out this instant. I bet you're one scaredy cat. How can you be afraid of a girl?" She spat.
She was about to throw her kunai when a sharp object was nearly pressed against her neck. One move and she's dead.
"Don't move." The man said dangerously.
Sakura was scared and nervous and more confused at the same time. She somehow recognized the voice but she denies the thought that was building in her mind. 'It can't be. What on earth would he be doing here? He abandoned the village why would he come back- No. He mustn't have thought of-' She freezes as the realization hits her. Well she's probably right.
"Sakura, stay still or this kunai will be pierced through your throat." Sasuke said darkly.
"Sasuke, why are you here?" She almost squeaked. Not able to hold the anxiety she was feeling.
"That's none of your concern." He hissed.
Tears were threatening to fall but she was able to hold it. Swallowing hard, she said, "So you're going to destroy everyone in this village huh, including your friends and-"She was cut off by Sasuke stating that, "Friends don't exist. I've severed them long ago."
Sasuke thought Sakura would cry and plead and ask him to return and try to live normal like he used to. He thought that she would act like the Sakura he knew three years ago. But no, instead he was a bit taken aback because Sakura stood still and said, "I will not let you lay a finger to anyone from Konoha. I'll protect them even if I have to sacrifice myself. I'll kill anyone who tries to hurt them." She said coldly.
"Even if it means me, Sakura?" He threatens as he held the kunai more closely to her throat.
"You heard me." She icily spat.
"Then, I won't let you." He said.
"What do you mean?" Sakura asked.
"I'll take you with me." He finally said.
"What? Sasuke no, I won't come with you!" She shouted at him. Sakura was scared and doesn't know what to do. She knows she is no match for him. Fighting him right now will be a sure death for her. Going with him will make her a traitor and she doesn't want that. But, what will she do now that Sasuke proclaimed that he will take her?
A/N: So this is my 2nd fan fiction and this is supposed to be a one shot but then I changed my mind. I'm not sure if it's good though so share your thoughts about it and give me reviews. Also, my updates for the next chapters will be based upon your reviews because I may become busy now that school is starting in a week.
