Link stepped into the dark, erriy room, not liking it one single bit. "Why do fights always happen in dark places?" Link thought for a moment about drawing his truthworthy master sword. Residing in the room was a large, old, almost dead looking tree. The leaves torn from his gangly branches and shredded on the ground underneath it.
The room was filled to Link's ankles with murky, green, slimy water, but clear enough to dodge sharp looking rocks or slippery seaweed. Each step Link took made a disgusting "sqleach" sort of sound, making the errily glowing room seem even more so creepy.
A soft singing voice snapped Link to reality, the voice was almost haunting. A shadow Link had missed before, the shadow of what seemed a boy. He was leaning against the old tree, his eyes closed and singing to himself.
But the fact that a boy was in here didn't shock Link more than the fact that...
The boy looked exactly like Link.
But, the boy was different at the same time, he seemed what a differ version of Link himself. Soft, raven hair that just brushed his shoulders with glowing, crimson, ruby alike eyes shone in the darkness. The same tunic Link was wearing, but a dull, flat black with a flat-out copy of his master sword.
The boy was apparently un-aware that Link was behind him, he kept singing his little song. Link stopped and listened, from what he could catch, he heard a haunting yet beautiful melody.
The boy stopped singing and opened a single eye, "I knew you'd come to kill me, hero of time" the boy whispered. Link stepped back in shocked, for once getting a good view of the boy. 'Beautiful' Link thought, stunned at the boy's beauty, he shook his head. Was he meant to kill this boy?
"W-why would I kill you?" Link asked nervously, stuttering on the first word. 'Dark' sighed befor standing up to face Link, his eyes staring mindlessly. "I'm the only thing standing between you and that door" Dark whispered, his eyes flashing a deeper red.
Dark pulled out his dark copy of the master sword and put it at Link's throat, "Either you kill me, or I kill you, your choose" Dark said menacingly, Link swallowed the lump in his throat. "Neither!" he whispered, Dark looked at him with pained eyes.
"I'm another copy of you, I know everything about you and I've fallen for you Link! If I kill you, I'll never stop hating mysel-" Link stopped Dark halfway through his sentence, their lips touching. Link kissed almost Dark passionately, almost lovingly and Dark returned it.
"As I said, I don't want to kill you" Link whispered, their foreheads touching and lips inches apart. "I guess, I love you" Dark whispered, smiling his own half smile in which Link returned. "As do I" they sealed their promise with a kiss they'd never forget...
Kiss of Love.
