Disclaimer: I do not own Harry Potter or Ginny or Draco or Gryffindor or the Fat Lady Portrait or OWLs or McGonagall or Flitwick or-just assume I don't own anything except the main idea of this story (if I'm allowed to own that?)
So, a Ginny/Draco story. Maybe it's a weird idea, but I do like them together. I know this is a little out of character story at least for Draco, but I had trouble with that. If you want a great in-character story, read Set in Stone by cuddlebear992. Love that story! It's my favorite on here and so's the author. It's long but so amazing, it's totally worth reading!
Anyway, here's the story:
Ginny Weasley sat down in the corridor, so tired she didn't even care where she was, or what she was doing. OWLs weren't for five months, but already homework was being shoved on them like they would die if they didn't do it. Maybe they would.
"OWL homework?" a voice said in front of Ginny.
"Yeah," she said, not even opening her eyes. "McGonagall gave me five hours worth, and Flitwick did three. Apparently it's really necessary."
"Yeah, they always say that," the voice replied. It sounded familiar. Maybe it was one of the seventh year Gryffindors. She'd noticed how nice they were to OWL students.
"Does it really help?" she asked, picturing the piles of work ahead of her, the beginning of which was a two foot long essay in Potions for Slughorn.
"Eh, a bit. Not really. Come on," somebody was sliding their arm around her shoulders and helping her get up. Soon she was walking along, practically sleeping.
She could tell they were going to Gryffindor Tower, because she recognized the familiar path. They halted outside of the portrait hole.
"Thanks," she said, making herself open her eyes.
"That's okay, Ginny," the voice responded, the person turning around.
"It was really nice of you, Draco," she called, before she even realized what she was saying.
Did you like it? I really hope so. Please review if you did, it would make me really happy ;)
