It all started when I saw this amazing skateboard. I really wanted it!'I now know what I must do' I thought to myself 'I will start a lemonade stand and sell lemonade to local residents who pass by!'
The next afternoon my best friend Taylor came running up to me.
"Demetri!Come here right now!" she screamed as she got to me.
"This book is amazing and being the good friend that I am I will let you borrow it. Its called Twilight and I love it" she said smiling.
"Taylor, not now I've got to get a lemonade stand going" I said glaring at her "besides, if you love it so much then why would you let me borrow it?"
"Because, I just told you, I'm a good friend." she said while holding it up "here take it and read it. I'll be back tomorrow to see if you've finished."
As she walked away I rolled my eyes. There is no way a book is so good that she could have finished it in one night. For me thats impossible since, not only do I hate reading with a passion, but also because I'm dyslexic . If I try to read more than two pages of this book I would probably tear up and cry out of frustration , so tonight I'll only read one page to be nice. Maybe.
