Something compelled me to look at Winnie the Pooh quotes. Just freakin' get ready for Avatar Aang to use Sap-bending. The "poem" I wrote for him just seems so much like something he'd say.

Summary: Aang speaks out some homemade vows (Drabble).

Disclaimer: I only own the thought it took to make this story. Not ATLA or Winne the Pooh.

"If you live to be a hundred, I want to be a hundred minus one day so I never have to live without you." - Winnie the Pooh

"...Into this holy estate these two persons come now to be joined."

They were married in the Fire Nation. A place Katara would've never, ever pictured her wedding to be, with a man she never thought would be blessing her to another man she knew she wanted to be with forever.

"If any man can show just cause, why they may not lawfully be joined together, let him speak now, or else-"

"AHEM-HEM-"

"ACK-AHEM-"

Zuko's eyes lifted from the scroll to stare, eyebrow raised as the best man a maid of honor suddenly had a hacking fit, and Katara's beautiful features that basked in the moonlight of the Fire Lord's hall now took on a thoroughly crossed disposition.

At the sight of Aang awkwardly raising his hand however, the entire rooms attention zeroed in on him.

"I-uh...I have something to say actually..."

"Sweetie," Katara whispered with her bouquet of panda-lilies and teeth clenched, " we aren't at the vows yet."

"I-I know Sweetie... but," Aang reached for her fists, immediately she latched onto his hands, "I really want to say this."

Katara watched him, he looked so determined it was obvious he was going to do this whether it got him in trouble with her later or not, and relented. He grinned and reached into her flowers to pull out a small, unnoticed lily bloom, and held it up to read the tiny inscription she mistook as the panda pattern, just like the rest.

Her lips parted slightly, and the only thing that stopped Katara from gazing down at her flowers in surprise was the look on Aang's face.

Red cheeks, gentle smile, eyes brightening... he was so beautiful, so captivating, he might as well have been bending the air from her lungs this very second.

Aang didn't need to read the flower, the words were in his heart, they were written in the blue eyes he'd been gazing into the moment her father gave her to him, but the chance to impress his Sifu was one he never passed up.

"Katara...I..." He took a deep, relaxing breath, "Some people say you care too much, but I always thought it was love. All that love inside just seemed to sweep over everyone. Especially me, in case you didn't notice."

She blushed.

"I love you. I know it was destiny that the element I trapped myself in was ice. I wrapped myself in your element, because you hadn't been there yet to wrap me in your arms... If..."

He cleared his throat, the embarrassing little rhyme he'd made up tickling the back of it.

"If you live to be a hundred and twelve, I want to be two-hundred and thirteen minus two...because... there'd be no pointing in living one more day if it was without you."

"Aang..."

Her face was so red, her eyes were so teary, her smile was so shy at this moment.

"Everyone's staring, aren't they?" she whispered, raising his hand to her lips to try and hide. Aang grinned and stepped closer.

"Don't worry about them, its just you, and me."

Vaguely he could hear Zuko continuing the ceremony.

Pfft. Aang you sap.

R&r. Check the poll for your input on me continuing the BtO (though I did say it was complete -.-).
