I stared out at the water, I watched as it lapped around my ankles it's cold grip cooling my whole body. I sighed. What is the point in living when you're not actually living?
"I haven't done anything with my life!"
I said spreading my arms wide. I got up angrily and floated away towards my little cave for the night. It was kinda comfortable in here, with a lot of rugs sprawled out across the floor, pictures hanging from the damp walls, and a little fire going. I even had some pets too. A couple of rats, mice and even some bats. They only stole my food though, and they can't really talk. I headed toward Fiona's house hoping for something to do. As the giant tree house came into view as I made my way up the hill, I saw Prince Bubblegum with a..Human? I squinted, thinking it was Fiona. But this one, looked different. She had short brown hair, and she looked more youthful.
As I made my way towards them, holding my umbrella uncomfortably, I watched them go inside. I floated towards the window closest to them. I peeked in, and saw her up close. She was close to the window, and I could see her more clearly now. Her hair was in a short bob cut-barely long enough for a ponytail. She had some freckles spread across her face but they were very light. She had small eyes, but they were a bright shade of green. I used my super-hearing to listen into what was going on inside.
"Look at who I ran into!" Bubblegum told Fiona. "Another human!"
Fiona jumped up from where she had been sitting.
"Really?!" She ran over to her, looking her over.
"M-my names Ari." The girl said.
"She also said she was thirteen! Just like you Fiona!" Bubblegum announced.
I winced. Thirteen was a little young, but hey, I have the appearance of a fifteen year old, right?
"She doesn't even remember where she's from though." Prince B. said sadly. "So I was wondering if you could let her crash here?"
Fiona thought for a moment.
"Okay. But only if you're not too messy!" She said laughing.
"That's okay honey! I'll clean up this tree whenever!" Cake said.
I sighed. I am tired of this! I'll check in tomorrow, and see whats up. I turned toward my cave, and floated away.
And yes, I get bored easily, in case you were wondering.
