this is not the first Naruto story I've written just the first I've posted. I hope it doesn't suck too much. Pure fluff
Pairing: Sasuke/Naruto
Rating: PG for shonen-ai
Dedication: For Nioma Maxwell I wrote this for her for an early Valentines Day present almost.
Disclaimer: I don't own Naruto. Stay Alive Forever is the name of a song by Breaking Benjamin
"But could we share a poison apple?"
Sasuke had promised Naruto Valentines Day chocolate. What Naruto had in mind was Valentines Day...ramen.
Sasuke sat at the stand next to Naruto his face in one hand, staring at the happy, little dobe, lost in his own happy, little world. Sasuke had asked Naruto what exactly his happy, little world consisted of. Worst mistake ever on Sasuke's part. Naruto's world was ramen and Sasuke or ramen-flavored Sasuke.
He had shuttered at that revelation.
since Naruto and Sasuke's coming together, the Uchiha boy had developed a great dislike for his boyfriend's favorite food. Everytime he opened a cabinet in the kitchen, his eyes were offended with stacks of colorful ramen packages often with kitschy little anime animal characters on them or pigtailed Japanese girls. He stared at a package one day at the smiling girl holding a bowl of shrimp flavored ramen. "She doesn't really eat that now," Sasuke said to himself.
Yet, here now Sasuke was shivering the February cold in the little ramen stand, so Naruto could be happy.
A happy Naruto was better than a wailing, snot-nosed one any day Sasuke thought. Sasuke sighed and tapped the wooden counter with his fingers in a random beat.
six bowls later Naruto had triumphantly placed down the last and announced that he was full. The angels in Sasuke's mind rejoiced and Sasuke pulled at his wallet, noticing that since he had declared his love for Naruto, it had become much slimmer. He retrieved the amount due and added a tip. Naruto grabbed Sasuke's arm and dragged him off the to the park.
Their breaths were clouds in the dark night sky.
"Thanks for the ramen Sasuke," Naruto said. His eyes were clamped shut in that happy way, a wide smile on his face and his hands on the back of his head. Sasuke noted how tall Naruto had grown in the past few years. They were both sixteen and they both had grown so much. Sasuke had become even more gorgeous, but Naruto had surprised everyone. He was so tall, well-toned, but his eyes were still crystal blue and child like. Sasuke loved that.
At that moment he found Naruto to be more adorable that puppies in a basket the way he went on about nothing at all.
Sasuke stopped and looked up at the twinkling orbs in the black sky. Naruto stopped in mid-sentence and took note of Sasuke.
"Is something wrong?" he asked. His arms fell to his sides and he stared up at the sky with him.
"They're beautiful aren't they Sasuke-kun?" Naruto said his voice was filled with awe.
Sasuke nodded and slipped his hand in to Naruto's.
"Like someone I know," he said.
He leaned his head down and caught his lips with Naruto's own. They finally pulled away and Sasuke rubbed his nose against Naruto's. Finally he rested his hand on the back of Naruto's head, fingers mingling with Naruto's blatant blondness. Naruto's arms went around Sasuke's waist.
"I love you," he declared.
"I can say the same," the Uchiha replied.
