A/N: Weirdly, this was inspired by a conversation between me and a friend in a Latin lesson. Don't ask. Pretty short, and hopefully sweet. Enjoy :)
Disclaimer: The Boosh isn't mine, which is a shame. However, I guess that's what fanfiction is for, right?
They understood each other in the end. They'd argued and fought and got it wrong at first, and Vince had run away. He went missing for two weeks, then came back in disgrace. This of course triggered another argument, another fight. But this time Vince apologised, and Howard had seen the fear in his eyes, the way he had almost cowered in a corner as he was confronted. And for a while they had been silent, until they both spoke the same words simultaneously: 'I love you.' Each looked at the shock on the other's face, and they laughed together. And they kissed, and it seemed everything was alright. They got snide remarks from unaccepting friends, but they moved on. They dealt with it in their own ways. Howard was a worrier. He would sit and ponder it and agonise over it until a solution or Vince with a comforting hug came along. But Vince was more easy-going. He understood that life wasn't easy, sometimes it was unfair, and often it went wrong. He decided he would wing it. Make it up as he went along. Take it day by day. He would go through his life being himself, winging it and hoping for the best. Not that he needed to. He had the best right here next to him. His Howard. And he explained his idea to Howard, that they should just take it slowly, day by day, not worrying about the future. He noticed a change in him immediately. He didn't spend hours at a time agonising over their problems. He was more relaxed, carefree, like Vince. And that was the only thing in the world which could possibly make him love Howard more. But it did, and they carried out their plan of not having a plan. And for now, that worked. That was all they asked.
I love reviews almost as much as I love the Boosh :P
