Cool change.
It was now eighteen months since Sara was returned to work in Las Vegas while Gil was working as a guest-lecturer at the Sorbonne in Paris before starting a long journey across South America.
That night, it was a very bad night for her : she had had to treat a dang that had seemed her to last an eternity, it took her to yield to the pressure of Ecklie to submit its report as soon as possible and finally, she hurt her ankle while she was taking her shower.
Fortunately, she could always count on the support of Catherine, who had been there when she slipped on the tile floor in the bathroom of the laboratory.
-Sara, be reasonable, you must tell Gil about what happened to you...said Catherine.
-No, no, he mustn't to be worried for so little, I'll get over it!...Sara said, visibly annoyed.
Two hours, a plaster and a sick leave of four weeks later, Catherine accompanied a very upset Sara to her home.
On the way back to the lab, she chose to disobey her colleague and told to Gil what was happening.
Unfortunately, this wasn't the first time that Cath took this initiative and Gil began seriously to be concerned about what was happening in his marriage.
Indeed, Sara seemed to have taken the habit of spending all her troubles in silence and he wondered if he shouldn't give up his job to move back to Vegas to watch over her.
Two days passed during which Sara deliberately avoided the Gil's calls and two days later, she had no longer news from him.
Neither Catherine or other team members who was come to see her in the meantime, had news of Gil and Sara began to worry in turn.
So she regretted not having answered the phone or to mails he had sent her and wept bitterly.
As she was drying her tears, she felt two strong arms to surround her and squeeze her hard.
She fidgeted before recognizing the smell yet so familiar since they were become lovers, then husband and wife.
-Oh!...Gil!...cried the young woman in surprise, turning abruptly and facing the delightful smile of her husband.
For all answer, he kissed her passionately and deeply.
So the others were gone away, leaving the couple fully enjoy their privacy newly found again.
The kiss broke after several long minutes, then came the time for explanations.
Sara finally confessed to Gil that their new life didn't suit her.
-That's good then...he started, mysterious.
-What do you mean by "that's good the"?...Sara asked, dazed.
-Honey, I just went to make a decision...he began then, looked gloomy.
Suddenly, Sara was afraid and trembled :
-Can I know which one...?
Gil smiled widely :
-Is there still a room for me here?...
-Well ...Of course yes, what a question!...You can stay as long as you want!...she cried in disbelief.
-Honey ...I'm not back for just a vacation...he said, his smile growing visibly.
-What do you mean by that?...Oh Gil!...Oh...
She burst into tears, shocked by this revelation.
So Gil pressed her into his arms with great affection.
She didn't expect at all that he finally decided to move back to Vegas.
