Chapter one: The Arrival
Kurt Hummel stepped off of the plane and into JFK airport, while holding hands with his boyfriend Blaine Anderson.
"I can't believe we're actually here!" He said.
" I know baby, now we can go see shows on Broadway, enjoy ice cream sundaes at Serendipity, take long walks in Central Park, and you can show me where to get good blazers!" Blaine replied winking back at Kurt
"Blainers!"
"What? You know you love the blazer!" the older boy exclaimed while going in for a soft peck on Kurt's lips. A few people stared, but they didn't care…they were in love and had been since Kurt's junior year of High School.
After walking down the concourse for a while Kurt pulled Blaine into a nearby Starbucks.
"Not all of the charm of the Lima Bean, but it'll do."
After Blaine said this, it made Kurt think about the small coffee shop where they had shared giggles, fell in love, filled up on coffee and of course shared their first "I love you"
They waltzed up to the counter still holding hands when they saw a petite brunette wrapping herself around a mused hair figure. Kurt lightly taped on the shoulder of one of his best friends and embraced her in a hug while their boyfriends shoulder-hugged and smiled.
"How on earth did you get here before us? I thought your flight was 30 minutes behind." Kurt exclaimed.
"Rach was frustrated with the fact that everyone was on the flight and we still weren't leaving…so let's just say that we got here a little earlier then expected" Jesse replied with a look of admiration directed towards his girlfriend.
They all shared a hearty laugh and then went to go place their orders at the counter. Once they sat down, the old friends talked about what they did during their summer apart. Rachel and Jesse had gone with Rachel's dads to a two-month long trip to the Bahamas while Kurt and Blaine had spent most of their time at Kurt's house. During this, Kurt taught Blaine how to cook; they also just simply enjoyed each other and did some other things that they silently decided to not bring up in front of the other couple.
The quartet finished up their drinks and decided to try to catch a taxi. The moment they all stepped outside, Rachel and Kurt were bombarded with thoughts from their New York trip in their junior year and stopped right in their places.
Both of them thought about singing on the Broadway stage together and having breakfast at Tiffany's. While Rachel reflected upon her relationship with Finn, which she now regretted and their emotional kiss on stage and Kurt thought about how much he missed Blaine and the thrill of walking on the streets that many great actors and actresses walked upon.
While the two best friends unknowingly grabbed hands and stood remembering, the other two turned back from trying to catch a cab and saw the loves of their lives in their star struck state. They laughed, grabbed Rachel and Kurt's hands and lead them to the bright yellow taxicab.
With one last look at the airport…the friends were off to start their adventures in New York with each other.
Blaine and Kurt looked at each other knowing this would be the best time of their lives and eager to start it.
