Hi there, this is a short fluff piece for a character of mine called Minnie and Zed - so no original soulfinders, sorry :( I'm not sure whether I want to continue with the backing story behind this as I want to get it finished before I do anything with it, so...let me know what you think. I just want opinions :)
Zed & Yves belong to Joss while Minnie belongs to me, Balloons.
Enjoy :) Review & favourite, please.
"Zed." I rolled my eyes. He sat on the sofa, clicking through channels on the TV, while I sat by the window with a book.
"I can't choose." Zed said in defiance, and in complaint, causing me to roll my eyes yet again.
"You're hurting my head, flicking so fast." Yves complained - he was unlucky at the moment, he was actually trying to watch the TV. "No, go back, that channel! Not this one! ZED!" A groan. I met Yves' eyes, and he jerked his head in Zed's direction.
Grinning, I closed my book before hurtling to Zed's side plopping myself in his lap. It seemed that his instincts were to wrap his arms around me, allowing me access to the remote. Laughing, I pulled from his grasp and chucked it to Yves, despite Zed's protests. He made to grab after it, so I saw it as an opportunity to twist out of his grasp and try to run to the door.
Zed grabbed me as he got off the sofa, pulling me back into his arms so that I was looking up at him. I saw the mischief in his eyes as he leant down to kiss me. Despite my reservations about kissing him in front of Yves, I found myself melting into him, only aware of the pressure of Zed's lips on mine and the shooting stars that zoomed through me.
That is, until a pillow hit me.
"YVES!" I yelled, turning to face my best friend, Zed's arms still around my waist - more restraining me than anything as Zed himself was laughing. "YOU'RE SUPPOSED TO BE THE NICE ONE!" My voice was drowned out by the brothers' laughter as Yves ran from the room. "After all these years I was pretty certain that I had Xav pegged as the joker of the family." I grumbled as my soulfinder tugged me back to the sofa. More laughter, and the rumbling of his body behind mine made me want to cause that to happen even more than I already did. "But that book was calling me to finish it." I complained, changing the subject as we both landed on the sofa.
I felt Zed's lips at my neck as he whispered, "Min, you can read the book later."
