''Mikoto-senpai?" The blonde looked up, her annoyed expression softening when she saw the petite redhead "Ah, Kana-chan. You're out already?" "Yeah, I was released yesterday. Is something wrong, senpai?"

"Nothing's wrong. You know me - just looking out for potential boyfriends." Mikoto laughed, scratching the back of her head sheepishly and Kana's expression quickly morphed to that of understanding.

"Is it him?" She asked, a soft smile painted on as she took a seat beside her. Mikoto couldn't help but relax - Kana had that effect on everyone. "You should tell him then."

Mikoto shook her head, a sad smile on her lips. "I don't want to ruin his happiness. He seems much happier now, Kana. I can't destroy that - I mustn't." The redhead's expression was unreadable as she studied her friend-slash-senior's face before a smile graced her lips once more.

"It hurts, doesn't it? Being unable to say what you want to." Mikoto couldn't help but smile bitterly at that.

"Very."

With an inaudible sigh, Kana stood up and gave a sad, fleeting glance at the loud group in front of the school. "Then treasure your moments together, senpai. Remember all the memories you shared."

Mikoto gave her a passing glance before turning back to watch the brunette at the center panicking when the infamous prefect came up to them. "So you're not going to tell him?" Kana sighed, heading back inside. "We both know that's virtually impossible. My time's coming to an end." "Won't you regret it though?" "Mizuki's holding onto my thoughts."

With nothing more to say, Kana left her sitting there alone. Casting one last glance at the group, Mikoto whispered, letting the wind carry away her words.

Then she walked away, leaving the rooftop. Tsuna startled as a breeze passed by him. "Mimi-chan?" "Is something wrong, Juudaime?" His self-proclaimed right-hand man asked worriedly and he shook his head, reassuring him that he was fine.

'I'm sorry, Nayo-chan. I love you.'
