A Baseball Mitt

Gokudera watched as Yamamoto opened up his birthday present and he noticed the amused expression on his face. The present he gave was a baseball mitt, sewn on it was Baseball Freak Yamamoto, and he wondered why that nut was chuckling.

"What the hell is so damn funny about the present I gave you for your lousy birthday." Gokudera snapped angrily and noticed that there was that smile.

"Hey, Gokudera. Is this why your fingers were constantly wrapped in band aides for six months?" Yamamoto asked cheerfully and watched as Gokudera's cheeks turned red.

"I thought you didn't notice." Gokudera stated calmly and his arms were crossed. He had hoped that Yamamoto would not notice.

"You are funny, Gokudera. Of course I noticed and thank you for the gift. BFY. So I'm your best friend." Yamamoto said happily and he didn't notice Gokudera's annoyed expression. "See on top you have Baseball, under it is Freak, and under Freak is Yamamoto. See how I got BFY."

"I should have put Baseball Moron Yamamoto." Gokudera said in an irriated voice and then he looked at the Tenth. "I bet the Tenth's gift will be better than mine."

"Ummm, I sort of forgot." Tsuna muttered quietly to Gokudera and he looked embarrassed.

"Don't worry. I have this covered." Gokudera said in a quiet voice, but then added loudly. "It is a gift from The Tenth and Me to You. Got it, Baseball Nut."

Yamamoto held back a chuckle and nodded.

"So you and Tsuna are both my best friends. That makes sense." Yamamoto commented calmly and a smile was on his lips as he put an arm around Tsuna's shoulder.

"Get your arm off the Tenth." Gokudera said angrily and glared at him. Yamamoto chuckled at me, he put his other arm around Gokudera's shoulder, and smiled brightly.

"You are both my best friends and thank you." Yamamoto commented cheerfully and he meant every word.

"Get your arm off of me and off of the Tenth." Gokudera stated firmly, but then Tsuna said in a low voice 'Gokudera, It is Yamamoto's birthday'.

'I'll allow this only because of my Boss.' Gokudera briefly thought and Tsuna sighed in relief. 'Yamamoto better be grateful to the Tenth. I would have punched him if the Tenth had no spoken up at that moment.'
